The benefit of online check-in has helped to create a mostly seamless experience when arriving at Accor Hotel. The Novotel no exception to this. As a returning customer, I am familiar with the layout of the hotel, and for the most part it makes sense. There had been a rearrangement of the lobby/reception area, and there was a distinct lack of seat.
This was a little annoying when checking out as the Taxi was late and so I had to stand somewhat awkwardly to the side. The Room, as always could do with a refresh. The original choice of design having aged perhaps faster than intended. It was however clean and tidy, and this particular room showed less sign of wear on furniture than other rooms I have stayed in. There was an issue with WiFi, which was quickly resolved by reception staff. Staff service was exceptional. I have made a note that upon your next stay that we will be able to provide an upgrade for you. The staff members were great, especially the lady that checked us in was so lovely and took good care of me and my 3 children. However had a very bad experience with the restaurant for dinner when we stayed the one night. It took over an hour before We got served our food, let alone 30mins to be served our drinks. A table that came in after us got well served before us which was not good.
Had complained to the manager as me and my children were about to leave. My kids were starving. Not only did we experience bad service but two other tables did as well.
A lady from the table next to us which had a bigger group, came up to me as they were leaving and asked if we had something wrong with our food? Told her no they took way to long serving our food and drinks. The lady then tells me they had plastic pieces in their food and the table on the other side before the lady and her group came in, they had to experience a man yelling at the staff members. Would not dine in there again. Manager gave a discount due to bad service, when I went to pay and explained to the young girl my experience and what this lady told me, the young girl and boy that was next to her both started talking to eachother about how bad the place was right in front of me. These were staff members. Any who the Room was good enough for the price we paid but the bathroom layout was annoying as the bathroom door was not able to open wide enough due to the toilet being behind it and the bath glass door was also annoying, pretty much was in the way to get in and out.
Overall experience was okay. Could have been better.
Actually I also loved how they had a kids play area. It really helped entertain my kids while we were waiting for so long for our food.

These spas were available in a mid-range Deluxe Series or the Excel Premium series with upgraded features like ozone systems, stainless steel jets, waterfalls, premium cabinets and upgraded light packages. The smallest model was the GL35, which fit 2-3 persons, had a lounger, 19 jets and 1 spa pump. The Sunlighter is a round, budget model measuring 79' in diameter, with a multi-level bench, seating for 5 and 23 jets. Model GL3 was a rectangular spa seating 3-4 persons, with 17 jets, 1 spa pump and a lounger in a 78' x 60' x 32' shell Great Lakes spa model LG4 had room for up to 5 in a 78' x 68' x 32' open seating hot tub with 1 pump and 21 jets.
